2009 Testimonials
My kids saw the commercials (Disney on Ice) everyday and asked if we could go. You made their wish come true. Thank you for making such wonderful memories for them during a difficult time. Everything about our experience was 1st class including meeting other wonderful families enjoying in the same experience. Thank you,
The Mahan Family

My girls wanted to see High School Musical on Ice, but I was too busy to arrange for it. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to watch the show with such an ease - the suite was relaxing, parking was no sweat, and the girls loved the show, especially seeing Corbin Bleu in person. Thanks for adding some fun to our lives.

My friends and I had a wonderful time at the game, despite me receiving chemo through a pump the entire time. It was definitely nice to get out of the house during a chemo session and spend time with family and friends. Thanks again,

Thank you so much for your generosity. Tonight you have allowed us to see the play "Elmo's Green Thumb." Our daughter currently has Leukemia. With a year left of treatment at Lucille Packard Children's Hospital, we got sick and missed our Make A Wish trip to see Elmo. Thanks for the opportunity for us finally see him. Though we are a ways from our finish line, it's comforting to know that our hearts can weather the storm no matter what the outcome. It's testimonies like yours that have led us to daily be able to say (even in the hardest times) "God is good." Thanks again and Grace and peace be yours.

It’s amazing that you guys give SOOOO MUCH to someone you don’t even know. First, I'd like to thank you for your support during last Christmas. I don’t know where we would've been without you...there wouldn’t have been one. I also want to thank you the most for putting Nicholas' story in my heart. It helped me to understand that sharing Nunu & my experiences with others can help them over come so much…

We received tickets from your foundation to the Ringling Bros. circus and just wanted to thank you and let you know that my son had a wonderful time. My 2 yr. old son, Ty, has been battling neuroblastoma for over a year now. He has endured 7 rounds of high dose chemo, surgery to remove primary tumor, a stem cell transplant, 27 rounds of radiation and is currently receiving an antibody treatment at Sloan Kettering cancer center in NYC. He is active and very happy-- we pray he continues to adjust and fight this battle daily!

Even though I never had the pleasure of meeting your son, I can tell by your past journal entries that he was a very special and beautiful boy! Thank you again for your generosity with the tickets, the luxury suite was awesome and we all had a great time :)

I want to thank you for giving us a chance to see the Disney On Ice. My daughter and the whole family loved it and it was our first time. Such wonderful show and my daughter felt like a princess once again. After all the treatments she has to go through...its really wonderful...thank you and God Bless to all of you (who) make this happen to all children dealing with this illness.

A great BIG thank you goes out to your wonderful foundation for giving my 6 yr old daughter, Kamryn and her best friend the opportunity to see the Disney on Ice Princess show. It was magical seeing the 2 little girls having such a great time singing, dancing and being little princesses for the evening. Your generosity is appreciated greatly for helping bring light to a little girl’s life for an evening of fun.

Thank you soooo very much for giving me and my friend, Gustavo the opportunity to watch Disney On Ice, Princess Classics....it was much fun and we definitely appreciated being treated like VIPs...my mom had a great time as well. We met other families battling leukemia and eye cancer and being together that evening with the possibility of never meeting up again, made it a special night to remember. May God Bless you on your generosity and thoughtfulness....God Bless!

It was very nice meeting you and your wife at the Warriors game, great game by the way. I want to let you know Matthew had a great time, as did his brother Michael, his friend Adrian and myself. I really appreciate what you and your wife are doing, it means a lot to a lot of people.

Thank you Gilbert family for the tickets. I saw the Warriors game last night. The suite is really awesome and we saw a Rolls Royce in the parking lot which was totally sick. Plus it was the first time I've ever been to a live basketball game. It was a really fun thing to do right before I had to go back in tomorrow for more chemo. Thank you again.

Thank you so much for allowing my son Raymond to host his friends at the 11/20 Warriors game! It was his first-ever NBA basketball game and the most special one, too, because your efforts made it all possible for the kids. This experience had perfect timing, not only because the Warriors had one of their best games ever over the Blazers, but also just one day earlier, Raymond's neurosurgeon gave us a tumor-free report from his latest MRI! …we're thankful to you and appreciative of all the opportunities you provide to so many children in Nicholas' loving memory…Happy Thanksgiving!
